Configuring Your E-Mail Account
for Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft Outlook 2000, click here)
Click "Tools" on the menu bar, select "Accounts" from the drop down menu. The window below will appear. Select "Internet Mail" and click Properties
*If you do not already have "Internet Mail" listed, click "Add", select "Internet Mail", then type mail.altitude800.com for the path to your post office on the cennection tab. Press "OK". Select "Internet Mail" that now appears in the Services window, click "Properties" and proceed with the instructions below.
Complete the Name and Email address fields. Type mail.altitude800.com in the Internet Mail server field. Enter your Account name - your email address using a % instead of @, then enter you password and click "Apply". Be sure to use a % in this server information area. Your actual email address will remain you@yourdomain.com.
Clickthe Connection tab, select LAN connection if you are connected to a network or Phone line if you use a dial up connection. Click "Apply", then "OK" to clear all dialog boxes
