There are limits to how much email can be stored on the server while waiting for you to retrieve it. There are also limits to the size of email messages, both sent and received by you.
Mailbox Size:
The default mailbox size is 20MB. This is more than enough storage for most users unless mail is left on the server. If you leave mail on the server and do not occasionally delete the messages, you may run the risk of mail being bounced because your mailbox has exceeded the 20MB limit.
Please Note: It is important that you download email from the server to your inbox. You will *not* be notified automatically if your mailbox has reached the 20MB limit. New incoming mail will be rejected by the server at that point.
Message Size:
Messages sent or received (including attachments) cannot exceed 5MB in size. If messages are larger than 5MB they will be rejected by our server. These limits vary and lower limits may be assigned to the recipient's server. Sending emails smaller than 5MB helps insure that it will not exceed the recipient's size allowance and bounce back as undeliverable. If you require files to be sent that are larger than 10MB, please contact us to set up an FTP account.
