Web Site Statistics Reports

Q
How do I access my web site statistics reports?
A
After your site is uploaded to the server, general Statistics are available for you at anytime to view through your web browser.

Current monthly statistics for your domain can be found at:

http://www1.altitude800.com/stats/www.yourdomain.com

Substitute www.yourdomain.com with your actual domain name. If you cannot access your report name with the "www", drop that off. The program creates the monthly report based on the 1st visit of the month and sometimes people will call your site without the "www".

Reports are updated every night. At the beginning of the new month, the previous month's report is archived. We recommend that you print the report for your records.

To access the previous month's stats, add the 2 digit month and 2 digit year to the link after /stats/ as follows:

Example:
http://www1.altitude800.com/stats/0905/www.yourdomain.com

Q
How do I interpret my report?
A
A few key definitions will assist you in reviewing your report:

1. Requests - are also referred to as "hits" and measure every item on a web page including graphics downloaded to a users browser. This is not a good measure of traffic to your web site.

2. Visits - actual measure of visitors to your web site (see loyalty for repetitive viewer numbers).

Many graphs are presented with both "Requests" and "Sessions" - actual visitors to your web site.

Q
Can I tell which pages are most popular on my site?
A
Many details are available regarding your site traffic in the column of links under Client Statistics. Check those links for traffic information such as; Time Online, specific Page hits and referral sites.
